Happy Birthday to all the owners of our D Litter pups on their first birthday.

Our house has now returned to it’s ‘quiet’ self now that our D litter puppies have left us for their new homes.
It was a sad moment for us when the last one left our home as this will be our last litter for possibly the next two years. We have enjoyed meeting all our families and seeing our pups go to live in such happy surroundings and seeing the joy they have brought to their new families.

Lillian, the protector of puppies, was especially sad to see them go. As much as an almost 3 year old can understand what happens to her puppies, she did a very good job screening the families to came to our house and understood what was happening when they left and did not cry.

The D Litter Arrives

Our D Litter arrived yesterday, the 1st of March.

Elli whelped 10 puppies, 6 girls and 4 boys. Unfortunately one little girl was stillborn.

Pink Girl - born 5.58m, weight 278g

Our C Litter turned 1 in January!

Welcome to Australia – Thor and Inga

We are very pleased to announce the arrival, release from quarantine and re-registration with the ANKC of our two new puppies, Thor and Inga. Inga and Thor were bred by the wonderful Eva-Liz at kennel Vallgården in Sweden and they arrived in Australia on the 12th of November. After 30 days in quarantine, they were release on the 12th of December.

Thor and Inga have been purchased in co-ownership with Angela Sneddon and will reside at her property in NSW. We will be showing these dogs in the ring across Australia and in the future they will be bred under a jointly owned prefix, currently being approved by the ANKC.

Angela can also be found at ANKC registered Eishund kennels.

The addition of our official ANKC White Swiss Shepherds does not mean we have given up the battle for the locally bred dogs. We still have hopes that one day our local line dogs can stand in the ring side by side with Inga and Thor.

WSSDCA Victorian State Show 2009

The WSSDCA Victorian State show was held on the 8th of November, 2009.

The show was a great day, albeit a little hot. A total of 22 dogs attended.

Fanuilos kennels did pretty well at the show.

Our girl Alpinarc Envy Me, Freyja, took out the Best in Show award.

Runner Up Best in Show was Sovereign Park Debonair – Sequoia.

Gadget Goodness

I thought I would start posting up any gadgets that I would love to have;
here it one.

It looks like a horrible flip phone like my mother had, but it is actually an ultrasound.

GE Vscan portable ultrasound video

I really do love the idea of being able able to scan Elli or Freyja and watch the pups grow.

No idea whether it records video like the beaut ultrasound at Wyndham Vet Clinic, or whether it costs as much as a car, but I can dream

Huaka Passes his AKC Good Citizen Test

We are pleased to annouce that Huaka (Fanuilos Love Hungry Man AI) has passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen test!

The Good Citizen test is the AKC (American Kennel Club) equivalent of the CCD with the ANKC – Obedience Trialing

Joan’s intention is to train Huaka as a therapy dog in the future.
